 Haird Motorsport customers new and old took to the track on February 25th for an invaluable test and development session. New customers included Jason Cooper, George Turiccki and Shaun Taylor, regular racers included Gavin Murray, Tommy Maxwell and Mikey Godfrey.

 Two of National Hot Rod racing’s most successful car builders have announced a tie-up for 2011 and beyond.
At the Autosport International show, David Haird (Haird Motorsport) and Sonny Howard (SHP Motorsport) announced that the two companies will be merging their Hot Rod construction divisions for the benefit of their current and future customers.
David Haird said “This really is a great opportunity for Haird Motorsport and SHP to further develop both our existing world championship winning Tigra ‘B’, as well as share knowledge and expertise with SHP as they roll out their all new Mazda RX8 National Hot Rod.
“Our world championship-winning driver Chris Haird will continue to be the ‘works’ driver involved with proving and improving both cars, and Haird Motorsport will continue to offer unrivalled trackside service and back-up at all race meetings for all our present and future customers for both products. It’s a win-win situation for National Hot Rod racing”
